Mosquito Bite Process: Painless probing
1. Landing and Probing:
- A female mosquito lands on your skin.
- She uses her sensory organs to find a suitable spot to bite, often attracted to exposed areas like ankles or arms.
- She probes the skin with her mouthparts to locate a blood vessel.

2. Piercing the Skin:
- Once she finds a blood vessel, the mosquito uses her sharp, needle-like mouthparts to pierce the skin.
- These mouthparts are designed to saw through the skin with minimal pain, so you might not even feel it initially.

3. Injecting Saliva:
- As the mosquito feeds, she injects saliva into the bite wound.
